E-Air Defence application. Assistance to the Air Force of Ukraine

In 2022, when the Odesa region was suffering from rocket attacks and looking for safety solutions for civilians, the head of the NGO Time of Action met scientists and inventors who suggested creating a mobile application to protect the population from rockets.

This is how the "Technari" design group was created, which included programmers, inventors, engineers, volunteers and others. Due to the fact that most missiles and death drones enter civilian cities at low elevations and pass by radar without being detected, the inventors decided to create a mobile application that would work under the "People Saving People" system.

Every Ukrainian who visually or audibly observes an air raid alert could send the coordinates of the target to the military. This additional information helps the defenders to identify and shoot down targets more accurately.

The NGO Time to Action provided a communication bridge between the soldiers and the inventors. Having a level of trust among the servicemen, the head of the NGO managed to convince them to study and test the app. As a result, the app was tested and received support and approval among various troops. It was personally recommended by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

Today, E-Air Defence is actively used during air alerts. It is ranked number 1 among free apps on the Play Market, and the artificial intelligence built into the app notifies civilians when an air strike is coming their way.
